Sporting Predictions 20/03/2010 – Result

Ji-Sung Park after scoring the winner
This is the second part of my predictions section for the week. I’ll have a look at what I predicted and what actually happened.
Football
The football results were a bit of a mixed bag for me. Lets have a look at all of the results:
| Fixture | Prediction | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Arsenal Vs West Ham | 3-0 | 2-0 |
| Aston Villa Vs Wolves | 2-0 | 2-2 |
| Evetron Vs Bolton | 3-1 | 2-0 |
| Portsmouth Vs Hull | 1-1 | 3-2 |
| Stoke Vs Spurs | 1-0 | 1-2 |
| Sunderland Vs Birmingham | 1-1 | 3-1 |
| Wigan Vs Burnley | 2-1 | 1-0 |
| Blackburn Vs Chelsea | 0-1 | 1-1 |
| Fulham Vs Man City | 0-1 | 1-2 |
| Man Utd Vs Liverpool | 2-1 | 2-1 |
I got 5 correct results and and just the 1 perfect score. Seems I’m not the expert I thought I was!
Rugby – Six Nations 2010
| Fixture | Prediction | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Wales Vs Italy | Wales win | 33-10 |
| Ireland Vs Scotland | Ireland win | 20-23 |
| France Vs England | France win | 12-10 |
I’m not the biggest expert at this rugby game but no-one expected Scotland to beat Ireland at Croke Park. The other results were pretty easy to predict.
Cricket Bangladesh Vs England
This hasn’t finished as yet but it’s very tight indeed. Bangladesh’s first innings ended at 413 and England are currently 356-5 as I write this. The whole innings hinges on Ian Bell now. I think England will surpass the 413 total but they need to get some fast wickets in Bangladesh’s second innings in order to avoid a draw.
