Dave Benson-Phillips during the glory years
Former Children’s television presenter Dave Benson-Phillips has been sectioned under the mental health act. After a sensational series of events, witnessed by a number of members of the public, Benson-Phillips was sectioned late last night (24th March 2010). Witnesses said that he had been acting strangely and after someone had raised the alarm it took 3 hours for the police to get him to come out of his van and into the arms of the awaiting doctors.
